The Standard Hydraulic lift requires a machine room to house its motors and hydraulic gear, the machine room can be located in different places, but it is generally placed next to the bottom of the lift shaft. The standard Hydraulic lift is only fitted where space is not an issue. If you don’t have a spare room for this type of lift you may want to look at

(*MRL = Machine Room Less) lifts that don’t require a machine room.

Hydraulic lifts are a type of elevator used for light/medium traffic requirements, especially in low to medium rise buildings and are ideal for use when replacing or refurbishing an existing lift installation.

Hydraulic lifts boast a 24m maximum lift span. With load capacities ranging from 75kg to 50,000 kg.
