Important Notes:- Motor Housing and Pit/Ramp
MOTOR HOUSING: It will be necessary to provide access for servicing via lockable double
hinged doors for the full depth of the lift shaft.
Consideration must be given to protect any accessible space beneath the bottom of the
lift shaft. We would be pleased to provide further information if required.
Safe Maintenance Access
Please be aware that current Health & Safety Regulations, i.e. Construction Design &
Management and The Provision & Use of Work Equipment specify; Access to all parts of
machinery requiring maintenance must be planned to be both safe and accessible.
The Goodsmaster you are planning to install requires regular maintenance. Therefore
careful planning will be required to ensure safe access into the motor compartment is
provided. The Goodsmaster normally requires 2 maintenance access points. The location
of these points of access will depend on the landing door positions needed. For further
advice please contact us on T: 01935 823369.
