The Book Barn
A two floor panoramic Domus DL/XL, a larger 400Kg load rated lift.
Installed by Hoistway to meet M2 (Disabled Access) regulations for
access to the upper floor of a large Book retailer on the outskirts of Bristol.
Choices
There are many choices of finish available with our low cost lifts, the book barn chose.
The lift entrace
The two doors allowing access to the lift are Anodised Aliminium, Panoramic Doors
they are contained within a Anodised Aliminium frame with matching handles. and call buttons
The lift car
A transparent Glass wall to one side allows a view from the lift.
The rear wall is finished in Anodised Aliminium with a half height mirror
The remaining wall is Full height Anodised Aliminium
A standard push button controller and handrail complete the lift car

The lift shaft
In this case the customer choose the aluminium low maintenance lift shaft
Three sides of the lift shaft are covered by Natural anodised Aliminium side panels
The fourth side of the lift is glazed in order to allow a view across the store
giving a feeling of space
