Why a Domus lift?

7. The standard DL range can serve up to 5 floors covering a drop of 12 meters

One of the strongest points of the Domus lift is its design, this famous design has brought us two new Lift car finishes The Lightouch a modern lift with superb finishes, and the Classic Luxury a traditional timber finish lift.

Both the DL and XL can be fitted into a concrete shaft. However, if building a shaft is impractical they can be supplied with an aluminum shaft.

The lift when fitted with its aluminum shaft is both aesthetically pleasing and very practical.

The aluminum fabrication guarantees a long life and low maintenance.

The lift can be fitted externally with very little construction work with little or no change to the interior fabric of your building.

Aluminium shaft
there is a choice of decorative finish which includes coloured panels, Aluminum panels and wood painted panels. In the case of Buildbase Yeovil (a Hoistway completed project) a white panel finish with the simple addition of posters the lift has become a useful point of sale area. Scenic glass walls allow natural light into the lift. In the case of the Book Barn (a Hoistway completed project) making the most of the large open-plan feeling of the building interior was reflected by the use of a glass shaft with a full glass wall in the lift.
Lift Car
you can specify every surface within your lift car from ceilings, some with integral mood lighting. Wall panels with a choice of colour and finish from stainless steel to wood effect finish. Floors range from Granit to non slip rubber. Accessories the finishing touch skirting boards, handrails, and push buttons vary in type and finish and include Maxi Push buttons a larger button (ideal for the visually impaired.)
